Volunteers Needed!
Day to day operations require a lot of help!
Ways you can get involved!
- Organization – Sort and organize donations of clothing, linens, and donated food.
- Janitorial – Prepare our spaces for new guests and disinfect common areas, ensuring guests have a clean, welcoming environment to arrive to.
- Gardening – Tend to our garden alongside our guests and Garden Lead, providing nourishing food to our guests.
- Landscaping – Help keep our facility beautiful by weeding, trimming, and maintaining fl ower beds.
- Front Desk – Sunday Shift (12-4) – Answer phones and tend to guest relations.
- Handyman – Various tasks including but not limited to: changing doorknobs, light plumbing, switching out lightbulbs, light electrical, painting, and light carpentry.
Volunteering is not hard. The people at The Haven are just regular people like you that have had some circumstance happen in their life to make them experience homelessness. They are not dangerous people. They are not addicts or alcoholics, although at times we do have folks that are in recovery.
